SSRN's Economic Research Network is pleased to announce that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will now post their working papers in SSRN's Government & Public Agency Research Paper Series.

IMF Working Papers series is designed to make IMF staff research available to a wide audience. About 240 Working Papers are released each year, covering a wide range of topics of both a theoretical and an analytical nature, including balance of payments, monetary and fiscal issues, global liquidity, and national and international economic developments.

In pursuit of this objective, we allow authors to upload papers without charge. And any paper an author uploads to SSRN is downloadable for free, worldwide.

SSRN reinvests all of the net cash it receives (principally from subscriptions to our abstracting journals and from institutions that use us to distribute their research papers), after servicing debt, to enhance our services to authors and users. SSRN's shareholders have not received any return on their investment, including dividends. To minimize potential conflicts with authors and users, SSRN has no outside investors.
